Excavation Work for RCL at Dhoho Airport Kediri under PT. WIKA

Dhoho International Airport will have a runway of 3,300 meters with a runway width of 45 meters to serve as a runway for aircraft with large loads. The total land area reaches 371 hectares. With a terminal area of 18,000 square meters, the airport is projected to have a capacity of 1.5 million passengers annually. As an international airport, Dhoho Airport also serves international flights for the purposes of Hajj and Umrah.

our company has successfully excavation work for the Runway Centerline (RCL) project at Dhoho Airport in Kediri.

As part of this project, our team was responsible for the installation of a cable route to support the installation of the Aerodrome Floodlighting (AFL) system. The AFL system plays a crucial role in providing effective illumination for safe aircraft operations during night-time or low-visibility conditions.

The excavation work involved careful planning and execution to ensure the proper placement of the cable route. Our team utilized advanced techniques and equipment to excavate trenches along the designated path and create a secure conduit for the AFL cables. Special attention was given to factors such as depth, alignment, and protection to ensure the longevity and reliability of the cable infrastructure.

Throughout the project, our collaboration with PT. WIKA Konstruksi was instrumental in achieving seamless coordination and efficient execution. The combined expertise and experience of both companies contributed to the successful completion of the excavation work within the specified timeframe.

We are proud to have played a significant role in the development of the RCL project at Dhoho Airport Kediri. The successful installation of the cable route for the AFL system will enhance the safety and operational efficiency of the airport, allowing for improved visibility during critical flight operations.
